Panthella Table Lamp

600

Panthella Table Lamp designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, Denmark 1970’s.

Introduced in 1971, Verner Panton’s Panthella stands out as one of his most popular designs. The fundamental idea behind its design was to design a lamp where both the base and the shade play a role as reflectors. The opal, half-spherical acrylic shade and white trumpet-shaped base enhances the lamp’s balanced form, while ensuring a pleasing distribution of light.

This particular model is from 1983 and features the switch on the cord. Some age appropriate signs of use in the form of some faint scuff marks on the shade are present but overall the lamp is in perfect condition.
